Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to design and creative services provided by K&Zh OÜ (“we”, “us”, “our”) and forms part of our Terms of Service. It explains how cancellations, deposits, and refunds are handled.

Unless stated otherwise in the applicable proposal or statement of work (“SOW”), a deposit is required before work begins. The deposit reserves our time and covers initial project setup and planning, and is therefore non-refundable.

If you cancel a project after acceptance but before any work has started, you may cancel by written notice (email). The deposit remains non-refundable as described in Section 2, and no further fees will be charged.

If a project is cancelled after work has started, you will be charged for all work completed and costs incurred up to the date of cancellation, calculated on a pro-rata basis against the agreed scope. Any amounts already paid that exceed the value of the work completed will be refunded; where the value of the work completed exceeds the amounts paid, the difference will be invoiced and is payable on receipt. Any deliverables produced up to that point remain our property until all due amounts are paid.

Because our services are custom and time-based, fees for work already performed are non-refundable. Refunds, where due under Section 4, are issued to the original payment method through our payment provider, Stripe, normally within 14 days of agreeing the final settlement.

If you are unhappy with any charge or believe a refund is due, please contact us first at hello@kz.design before opening a chargeback or payment dispute. We are committed to resolving concerns quickly and fairly, and most issues can be settled directly without the need for a formal dispute.
